The history of DataDecrypt begins in 2002, when its founding partner opened the first data recovery company offering lost data recovery services.

During its more than 10 years of work, the company gradually increased its area of ​​activity, serving customers from the most diverse locations, reaching more than 100,000 services and acquiring great experience in ​​information technology area and lost files recovery.

In 2016, we began to notice a growing demand from customers who were being attacked by ransomware viruses and losing their files, a problem for which in most cases there was no solution to remove the encryption.

Detecting this need, a new segment of the company was created and an extensive research project began in ​​file decryption area, resulting in several exclusive techniques and procedures that today allow DataDecrypt customers to be offered a solution with a high success rate that allows them to recover the access to cyber attack encrypted files.

In 2018 we began offering the first solutions to customers who needed to remove encryption from files, our first customer and great success story being one of the major foreign football teams, which had been attacked by ransomware.

In the years 2018 to 2021, the number of criminal groups and hacker attacks encrypting company files increased alarmingly, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns with the significant increase in remote work and the consequent greater exposure of confidential data.

For these reasons, in 2022, in yet another innovative move, the DataDecrypt company was officially created, which was born with more than 5 years of experience in decrypting ransomware files and more than 20 years of experience in recovering data and lost files.

Our technical department brings together more than 20 years of experience, having already recovered data and decrypted important files of all types, as well as Microsoft SQL Server, Firebird, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSql Databases, VMware Virtual Machines, Microsoft Hyper-V , Azure, Cloud Services, Veeam Backup, File Servers, and many others.

Today, we are very proud to be the only company in the Americas to dedicate itself exclusively to file decryption services, having already successfully removed ransomware encryption from the files of more than 20,000 customers.
